The Institute’s approach in promoting teacher well-being recognizes the need for deep personal change and therefore for programs to support teachers in this area. Lack of training and capacity in this area is a major reason for teachers leaving the profession early. The education of teachers at university does not prepare them for the reality of the classroom, particularly in the areas of relationship building with students and personal stress management. Our staff have thirty years’ experience in facilitating personal growth through practical approaches that have significant positive outcomes for participants. This has been consistently validated in the Programs delivered to date.
